The play English was possibly one of if not the most interesting read I had as an AP Lit student. One aspect, or I should say character, that stuck with me most during the play was Elham. She reminded me of myself a little bit. Elham is probably one of if not the smartest people in that classroom. She was accepted into one of the best medical schools in the country, and she was invited to do research at said medical school. But the thing is, her English is not very good. She struggles in the English classroom, and is constantly made fun of in the classroom because of her speaking skills. Even the teacher, Marjan, tends to be a lot more strict on Elhelm for who knows what reason. I resonate with her, with the fact that she always feels like she isn't enough. For me, even with everything that I have accomplished my senior year, and even my past years in high school, I still don't think I have done enough. Not getting into University of Michigan, when almost everyone I knew was going only made that feeling worse for me even though I got into a more difficult school and a really good school that seconds to the University of Michigan. Even though I know I am smart, it still feels like I could have done so much more to feel like I am good enough, which is exactly how Elham has felt during the play English.

We recently wrote an essay about the Juggler, a poem that talked about the description of a man who's prowess included wowing the audience with his tricks, such as juggling multiple balls or balancing a table and a chair. We were asked to write an essay about the poem, and how the speaker talks about The Juggler. In my essay, my main focus was religion, and how the speaker portrayed The Juggler as a sentient being. However, looking at the poem after I wrote my essay I started to realize something. The speaker talks about The Juggler as a being above all, yes, but why does he do that? Why does the speaker put someone else above himself? Aren't we taught to value ourselves and be confident in who we are? Then I hit a realization: the speaker does not like how he is right now. The speaker uses the idea that The Juggler is the guide to excitement and action, to cloud the depressing, anxiety-filled life the speaker is experiencing. It's like when someone puts a fake smile for another person's achievements. I can just visualize the speaker recording on his phone The Juggler performing with the crowd cheering on him, but behind the camera the speaker is stone-faced, zero reaction. Idk, that's my take on the poem I really don't know if its right, or I'm just yapping. But yea, the speaker does NOT like his life, and uses The Juggler to distract himself from that.

I feel like people experience their transformation into an adult at different parts of their life. But what does it mean if you are an “adult”. The technical version is when you’re older than 18, but you may not be mentally 18 at that time. When you grow up, that’s when people start noticing that you are older, and in my opinion the one biggest aspect of when you have grown up is being able to retaliate after facing any problems. Now, retaliate doesn’t mean an act, it means being able to ‘bounce back’ from any obstacles and work harder to get through it. I am in the bounce back stage currently, as I just faced news that my childhood self would have crashed out over. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the premier colleges in North Carolina and my dream school for the longest time. I opened that admissions letter, thinking that I would be able to get in, and instead I got flat out rejected. No remorse shown from them, just a brutal “We don’t want you here” type of admission letter. I couldn’t accept the fact that they didn’t want me, because I thought I was everything UNC wanted. I had the academics, the athletics, helping my community, and yet none of it was enough. I started questioning myself, am I really as smart as I thought I was? Why did I really think I was going to get accepted into UNC? For a whole day I just rotted in bed, thinking that no matter what I was going to do I was completely useless. Then, my mom came in and told me something I would never forget. “Nobody says its this easy the first time. It’s all about how much better you will be the second and third time.” I didn’t really understand what she meant at first, then it started to click for me. You will always have problems in life, and it isn’t about how you are in that situation in the first place, rather is about how are you gonna be better after that. That was pretty much the beginning of me growing up, learning to stop taking things very seriously, rather accept that something happened, and do everything I can to be better from that moment onwards. That is what it means to grow up, to be mature enough to accept flaws and problems and move on from that.

It’s the night before Christmas and Santa is going through some problems. His elves were lowkey pissed off at him for not paying them right. One of the elves, Peter Dinklage, brought it up to Santa that the elves should be getting paid 10 cents per 1000 toys, not 9 cents. Santa was like "Nah fam. You ain't built like that to deserve allat bread." So, Peter Dinklage and elves went on a strike, in protest that Santa paid them more money, and Santa STILL didn't agree with them. Santa told the elves that he didn't need them and sent all seven of them to work with Snow White… because Santa had a plan. He was going to do what was least expected.. He was going to steal.

Complex relationships is a topic that can be described using so many ideas. Some might think of a complex relationship as a physical relationship, like friendship, easily the most complex type of relationship out there. I read the article Rethinking the Friendship plot, by R.D. McClay. McClay provides a valid point about friendship, how friendship becomes a retrospective about the friends you left behind.

Oreos are my guilty obsession. As a kid it wasn’t even an obsession at that point, it was an addiction. My addiction to Oreos is the exact same as the homeless men down the block on crack’s addiction to cocaine(I wish I was kidding). I would show those Oreos zero mercy, those packages of snacks sent from the gods last a good minute before the whole package has been emptied by a skinny 9-year old kid. It was something about the sugaryness of those Oreos, the cholatelyness of the biscuits, they controlled basically my whole life up until now.

Fantasy. There are so many instances where fantasy can be used. In literature, the fantasy novels about the princes and princesses exploring the world, or a group of teens who discover they have magical powers and are sent to a school of magic. In the music world, numerous artists have music titled "Fantasy". You have the music couple of the century, Don Toliver and Kali Uchis and their version of "Fantasy", but you also have two of the more underrated rap artists in Offset and Big Scarr and their version of "Fantasy". My personal favorite has to be Fantasy Football, a topic that briefly came up during pits and peaks at the start of English class. Ironically, every single comment (even mine) that was shared on fantasy football was a pit, from the Dolphins wide receiver room completely disappearing during their matchup against rival Buffalo Bills, or James Cook turning into a Hall of Fame running back and just completely dismantling the Dolphins Defense. Fantasy is such an abstract concept, not the actual definition of the word rather than the situations the word is applied too. Fantasy can even be applied psychologically, where as a kid some people would "fantasize" about achieving feats that were deemed impossible. Me, I fantasized about becoming a PGA tour professional and breaking every single one of Tiger Woods records. Now, obviously that is what we deem a "fantasy" since I am no where near Tiger Woods. But the whole idea is that when a person talks about fantasy, there are so many things they could talk about. It is such a versatile idea that could refer to so many different branches of ideas that there is always a chance you won't know what type of a conversation to expect when someone asks you about something "Fantasy" related. Fantasy looks like any other word, but the concept and the use behind it extends its purpose and true meaning to a world of topics.

Blogging has been a really great experience for me. I really enjoyed sharing my thoughts and ideas on numerous posts. Through blogging, I have definetely developed a lot more ideas for my blog posts, and I have been adding on the content needed in each blog post. At the start, my blog posts were all about one or two topics, however, near the end I was able to talk about all different kinds of topics, from a movie review to an informational blog to a fun and enthusiastic blog. Blogging in general has been a really great experience, and I had lots of fun doing it.

Recently, the new spider man movie "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" came out, and it was an instant it. I watched that movie on opening night, and the movie definetely lived up to its expectations. The actions scenes, the dramatic scenes, literally every scene was perfect. The animations were insane, and the animators probably didn't sleep with how high-defined the animations were. However, there was one major let down that I will never get over. The sound track

I am completely blanked out on blog ideas, so I decided to do something that I have seen many different golf influencers do.
