Spider-verse soundtrack review

Recently, the new spider man movie "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" came out, and it was an instant it. I watched that movie on opening night, and the movie definetely lived up to its expectations. The actions scenes, the dramatic scenes, literally every scene was perfect. The animations were insane, and the animators probably didn't sleep with how high-defined the animations were. However, there was one major let down that I will never get over. The sound track

The soundtrack for this movie was supposed to be the next best album, created by lyrical genius Metro Boomin, featuring the best of the best artists such as Uzi Vert, Future, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, and a lot of others. Many people were claiming it to be even better than heroes and villains, which is by far Metro's best album. But it just flat out disappointed on release date. The album was decent at best. It definetely wasn't bad, but it was way overhyped. There are maybe 2 or 3 good songs, and the rest are pretty mid.

My take

I rate this album a 6.3/10. This just did not live up to its expectations, but by no means is it a bad playlist. It has a good vibe to it, and it is a unique album. My favorite songs were "All the way live, Annihilate, and Nonviolent Communications". The rest of the songs I felt were kind of okay, they just didn't hit like a Metro-produced song would hit. Overall, the album had so much potential, it just didn;t live up to it.
