Kindness can be known as many things
The savior to hate
The prize to the unlucky
The wish from the families
Kindness is desired by everyone and everything
But, kindness isn't something gifted
Kindness must be earned
Through sacrifice, and through hard-bearings
When you discover the different environments
Throughout the lands of kindness
realizing how empty and sorrow it is
Without kindness.
Only then, will you truly realize
the meaning of kindness

Throughout the regions of kindness.

My goal while writing this poem was to change the poem entirely, but keep the same idea presented in the original poem. I changed the meaning of the main one, since it was a bit dark and it didn't really seem hopeful near the end of it. With mines, I added the dark element to it, but I brought some light to it near the end of it, mentioning how kindness is sort of a distraction from the world we live in, where its all hate and all this bad stuff. I liked the original poem, but it was sort of demeaning and it was just too dark for a poem that was titled "kindness".
