Fantasy

Fantasy. There are so many instances where fantasy can be used. In literature, the fantasy novels about the princes and princesses exploring the world, or a group of teens who discover they have magical powers and are sent to a school of magic. In the music world, numerous artists have music titled "Fantasy". You have the music couple of the century, Don Toliver and Kali Uchis and their version of "Fantasy", but you also have two of the more underrated rap artists in Offset and Big Scarr and their version of "Fantasy". My personal favorite has to be Fantasy Football, a topic that briefly came up during pits and peaks at the start of English class. Ironically, every single comment (even mine) that was shared on fantasy football was a pit, from the Dolphins wide receiver room completely disappearing during their matchup against rival Buffalo Bills, or James Cook turning into a Hall of Fame running back and just completely dismantling the Dolphins Defense. Fantasy is such an abstract concept, not the actual definition of the word rather than the situations the word is applied too. Fantasy can even be applied psychologically, where as a kid some people would "fantasize" about achieving feats that were deemed impossible. Me, I fantasized about becoming a PGA tour professional and breaking every single one of Tiger Woods records. Now, obviously that is what we deem a "fantasy" since I am no where near Tiger Woods. But the whole idea is that when a person talks about fantasy, there are so many things they could talk about. It is such a versatile idea that could refer to so many different branches of ideas that there is always a chance you won't know what type of a conversation to expect when someone asks you about something "Fantasy" related. Fantasy looks like any other word, but the concept and the use behind it extends its purpose and true meaning to a world of topics.
