Is Time an Illusion?

Look, I know this might seem crazy to some people, since these are the people that don't have a broad output in life. But, hear me out. There are theories out there saying that time is real, that time is an "integral part of the universe," as stated in the article Does Time Exist? A Physicist's Perspective by Andrew Zimmerman. He talks about " the arrow of time" and how it makes no appearance in physical science. He also goes on to talk about the best-selling self-help book called "The secret", and how they state that time isn't real. The whole purpose of the article is to debunk that notion, and to provide reasoning as to why time is real. Kind of like a CER, expect it isn't graded and they had unlimited time to do this.

Disclaimer: Yes, I know this is from 2006, 17 years ago but bear with me I couldn't find anything else that was this descriptive

Let's take a look at the graph above. Evolution, the way mankind went from monkeys to having kids complain about getting a 97 on a math test. That actually angers me, cause a 97 is a borderline A+, like stop crying about it, colleges aren't gonna say "oH He/She gOT a 97, hE ShaLL nOT bE LeT iN tO oUr sCHOoL!"(yes, this is probably a pain to read but I have to show sarcasm somehow to make myself seem funny:)). Anyways, let's get back on track. Darwin stated that evolution occurs "over time" and we just agreed to that cause he was smart. But take a look at U.S, only 40% of us believe in evolution. I wonder how the other 60% thinks we got to this stage where self-driving cars are normal. Iceland is 85%, but considering their population is like the size of a small town I wouldn't really take that into fact. This is what stumps me. Darwin's theory of evolution is what all 7th grade science classes taught us to be true, that evolution happens over time. But even after all the evidence provided, ONLY 40% OF US ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT! I guess one of those reasons why can be explained in the article What Einstein Meant By "Time is an Illusion", by Jaime Trosper.

My Take On This

I have been taught that time is real, that time is the cause of evolution. But after a three-hour therapy session with the boys in a closed room with a night-light being the only source of light, I can confidently say that I have no idea what time is. Shiv Patel has convinced me that time is not real, that time is an illusion that people want to use to cover up the real secret. That secret, I don't know whether it even exists or not, but the idea of it is powerful enough.

Another Disclaimer: This is all jokes, in no way have I gone crazy I am a completely normal human being that finds this kind of stuff entertaining. Don't send me to a psych ward pls:)
