History

TaylorMade, an American golf company founded in 1979 by Gary Adams. TaylorMade took the golf world by storm in 1993, after releasing its first Burner series of golf clubs. From then on, TaylorMade only grew, as they were bought by Adidas in 1997 and had its first billion-dollar revenue in 2006. In 2017, Adidas sold TaylorMade to KPS capital Partners for a whopping 425 million dollars.

From 2016 onwards, TaylorMade became the number one golfing equipment company, with the release of their newest TP5 and TP5x golf ball model, as well as the SIM series golf clubs, which became one of the most used golf clubs to this day, as numerous tour pros such as Tiger Woods, Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson, and many others.
